Christmas song and social evening

This Sunday sees the Sudbrook Song and Social Evening with a chance to chat and sing a few songs and carols.

It will be held at Fred’s barn on Glebe Farm, Sudbrook (NG32 3RZ) and as in previous years there will be a glass of mulled wine and some mince pies on offer.

Funds are being raised for St Barnabas Hospice, last year’s event raised £390.

Any contributions of raffle prizes, mince pies or mulled wine will be gratefully received.

The village’s summer Jubilee party raised enough to buy the Sudbrook Jubilee Bench.

The bench and time capsule will be installed on the site of the old village hall, with the capsule being sealed on the night.

The evening starts at 6pm.
