Churches unite for coffee morning

SPRING FAIR - The Spring Fair at Billinghay Methodist Church proved to be a success, despite the weather - rain, hail and wind, with a little bit of sunshine.

Visitors were greeted inside with taped street organ music, provided by Denis Sleaford.

Jacket potato lunches were served during the event.

JUMBLE SALE – A jumble sale is to be held at Billinghay Methodist Church Schoolroom on Saturday.

The sale will start at 2pm and there will be the usual stalls, including cakes and bric a bra, plus a raffle.

Tea and biscuits will be served throughout the afternoon.

COFFEE MORNING – On Saturday, May 12 Bilinghay Methodist Church will be hosting a coffee morning from 10am. This will be a joint event with St Michael’s Church and all proceeds will go to Christian Aid.
