Cycle route due to be finished soon

WORK is set to be completed on an important cycle link into the town later this year.

The £550,000 Sustrans scheme used BIG Lottery money to create a cycle link from Leasingham via a bridge across the A17, leading into town. The final stages are now due to be completed before October. Two crossing points in the middle of Lincoln Road, near Stokes Drive and York Road, are planned to help make it easier for pedestrians and cyclists to cross safely. There will be further improvements at the junction with Homebase and other minor improvements along the route.
