Great support for shoebox appeal

Thanks to our generous readers, a total of 144 shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts were donated in support of the Sleaford Standard backed Rotary International Shoebox Appeal.

Many of the boxes were filled by pupils of the William Alvey School.

The Sleaford shoeboxes, along with other boxes donated across the country, will be winging their way to Eastern Europe to help bring Christmas cheer to underprivileged children.
