Help group’s bid to dance its way into record books
MORE volunteers are being invited to take part in the first trial run before a group of Sleaford people attempt to dance their way into the record books.
The first practice session for the attempt at setting a new Guinness world record for the World’s Largest Simultaneous Superman Dance will take place on Saturday, from 10am to 1pm, at the Source in Southgate, Sleaford.
Those who have already registered to take part in the attempt, which will take place on May 5, will be invited to this practice session when a demonstration of the Superman dance will be given at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm.
Anyone else who would be interested in joining in can go along on Saturday and register to take part.
One of the organisers, Lorraine Wise, said: “I would like to remind people its free and its fun and its the people of Sleaford that can break a world record. It’s also for a good cause.”
As well as aiming to set a new world record, the dancers will also be raising money for Sleaford LIVES First Responders.
