Karate club demonstration at town events

THIS month, the Mablethorpe Shotokan Karate Club celebrates its sixth year, and will be putting on demonstrations at local events.

The club, which was set up by Dave Fenton (1st Dan) on June 1, 2004, will perform at the Carers Day on Saturday June 19 on Stanley Avenue at 11.30am and at The Sutton Carnival on July 25 at 1.00pm.

The club has succeeded in bringing numerous novices up to black belt standard including medals in various competitions.

The club is always looking for new members and will accept anyone from 7 years upwards with a "warm welcome".

For more information, call Dave Fenton on 01507 472766.
