A donation to a village school will definitely provide added value.
Kirkby la Thorpe Primary School has received £250 worth of new maths resources from Utility Aid, Sleaford.
The friends of the school had applied for new equipment to Kind Gestures, a trust fund founded and sponsored by specialist national energy broker Utility Aid to provide donations to worthwhile causes in the Sleaford area.
The resources provided by Utility Aid included weighing scales, large dice, fraction games, number lines and counting beads.
Amanda Cook, the school’s maths subject leader, said: “We’re really thrilled to have been given the opportunity to choose exciting and practical resources for our pupils to use in their maths lessons.”
Headteacher Katie Bartle added: “We are very grateful to Kind Gestures and the staff of Utility Aid for their generous donation.”
