Ladies club welcome back guest

COFFEE MORNING - The next Fairtrade coffee morning to raise funds for St Andrew’s Church will be held on Saturday, February 11 at Leasingham Village Hall, from 10.15am to 11.30am.

Fairtrade refreshments will be served and there will also be a cake and preserves stall

The three numbers for the 200 Club lottery will be drawn at the coffee morning. Money from the 200 Club will go towards to the tower project at the church.

ROAD CLOSURE - There is to be a temporary road closure due to resurfacing work which will restrict all vehicles on Chapel Lane, Leasingham, from Lincoln Road to Washdyke Lane.

This restriction starts on Monday and finishes on Sunday, February 19.

Adequate arrangements will be made to enable pedestrians to access premises while the works are in progress.

The alternative route for traffic will be via Lincoln Road and Moor Lane to Washdyke Lane and vice versa. For further information contact South Kesteven and Sleaford highways division on 01522 782070.

LADIES CLUB - The first meeting of the new year for Leasingham Ladies’ Club will take place at the village hall on Tuesday, February 14, from 7.45pm.

The guest speaker, making a return visit, is Dylan Royce, an ex-presenter on BBC Lincolnshire, who will entertain members with another animal story.

COUNCIL BUDGET - At their January meeting, Leasingham Parish Council drew up its budget for the forthcoming year and have agreed to maintain the same precept as last year.

The next meeting of the council will be held on Monday, February 13 at 7.30pm in the village hall.
