CHRISTMAS FAIR - A Christmas Fair in aid of St Barnabas Hospice was held at Leasingham Village Hall. WI members were at the event to collect gifts or completed shoeboxes for the Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child appeal.

CRAFT FAYRE - Leasingham Christmas Craft Fayre in aid of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance is taking place at the village hall on Saturday, from 10.30am to 3pm.

WI NEWS - Puddings and pates were on the menu at the last meeting of Leasingham WI courtesy of guest speaker and demonstrator Maureen Rhoden. The next meeting of the WI takes place at Leasingham Village Hall tomorrow (Thursday) from 1.30pm, when the subject for the guest speaker will be ‘The Lost Prince’, about the youngest child of King George V and Queen Mary.

QUIZ NIGHT - A quiz night is to be held at Leasingham Village Hall on Saturday, starting at 7.30pm. A ploughman’s supper is included in the ticket price.

Tickets are available from Leasingham Post office, Crescent Stores or from Mary Bonaker on 01529 302447.

NEWSLETTER - The deadline for submissions for the next Leasingham newsletter is Thursday, November 22. The next edition covers December and January and submitted material may be left in the small box at Leasingham Post Office.
