Organisations and groups all over Sleaford and the surrounding areas have benefitted from hundreds of pounds donated by Masonic Lodges.

Masons from Sleaford’s Shire Lodge visited 2160 ATC Sleaford squadron to present a cheque for £500 to the organisation, based on The Drove.

Shire Lodge mentor Les Hamp said: “The Cadets should be very proud of themselves, they gave me a guided tour during the visit and it’s obvious they work very hard.”

The 1st Pointon Baden Powell Scout Group have also been on the receiving end of the generosity of their local Masonic Lodge, as Hereward Lodge in Bourne has donated £500 to the group, which the scouts were able to use to buy their special section flags to use in the Remembrance Day parade in Rippingale.
