PUPILS at a village school will be playing in style from now on thanks to some some brand new ‘trails’.

Chestnut Street Primary School in Ruskington have purchased some new play equipment thanks to input from the school council.

The school were looking to improve their outdoor area and the school council reviewed and approved the suggested designs after receiving feedback from their peers.

Now the school has three areas of Trim Trail equipment standing proudly in the grounds.

There is a large structure on the playing field, a smaller one in the infants’ play area and a large noughts and crosses game structure on the junior playground.

Headteacher Laura Suffield said: “The play equipment looks great and it has really improved the look of our outdoor facilities. The children love it.”
