Project aims to help young teenagers

POLICE in North Kesteven have launched a new educational project aimed at young teenagers taking responsibility for the decisions they make.

The scheme, which is called ‘It’s That Easy’, focuses on secondary school students in Years 9 and 10 and aims to give them an insight into the implications of making bad choices in life as they gain more independence from their parents.

This is a joint venture between Lincolnshire Police, North Kesteven District Council, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership and Lincolnshire Cooperative. So far it has been trialled at NKDC and William Robertson High School, Welbourn.
