LADIES CLUB - All Saints Ladies Club will be given a talk from LIVES First Responders at their meeting this evening. This will be followed by a coffee morning at the Winchelsea Centre on Saturday, May 12 from 9.30am to 11.30am.

The ladies club meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month at the Winchelsea Centre at 7.30pm.

BEST VILLAGE - Ruskington has entered the Lincolnshire Best Kept Village Competition for 2012 and villagers are urged to help make the village look as attractive as possible.

The parish council is making every effort to keep the village looking clean, tidy and presentable but much of the judging is based on the condition of private properties. The first round of judging will take place in June.

COFFEE MORNING - Ruskington Methodist Church will be holding a coffee morning on Saturday, starting at 10am to help raise funds for Christian Aid. Sleaford Vintage Brass will also be performing at the church on May 11. For details: 01526 833437.
