You decide who wins our Customer Service Award!

A new category in this year’s Sleaford Town Award is that which recognises great customer service – and this is the award YOU have a massive say in.

That’s because we want you to pick the winner. Below are the three nominees for the Customer Service Award and now all we need you to do is vote for who you think should win.

Closing date for votes is noon on Wednesday, March 6.

* The Little Italy Pizza Co.

Owner James Broderick ensures that his company, based Money’s Mill, consistently serves the best food by cooking everything on the premises, with fresh dough each day and also using local, fresh produce.

James said that as some people may be reluctant to order from a company they don’t know, he also offers new customers the chance to try certain ingredients before they buy them, for example a recent customer was unsure about having the reggae-reggae sauce as a base and James offered him a sample for free to try it.

* Gohils Chemists

Gohils Chemist have been nominated for a Customer Service Award for always being so “pleasant and helpful”.

Mr and Mrs Gohil and their staff were praised for “always go out of their way to help people in any way they can”.

The service they provide from their premises at Clover House, Boston Road, was also described as “top notch”.

One nominator said: “I feel they should know how much all their hard work is appreciated.”

n Sunny’s Plaice

* Town fish and chip shop Sunny’s Plaice has been nominated for a Customer Service award for always delivering “service with a smile”.

Sunny’s, situated on Jermyn Street, has been run by Sunny and Narinder Singh for around eight years and during their time in charge, the business has picked up many awards including the a five star Fish Friers Quality Award, the highest accolade from Seafish, the authority on seafood established by the Government.

Customers of Sunny’s have praised the cheery nature of the staff and the good quality of their food.

The person who nominated them also said that their fish and chips taste “amazing”.
