NOSTALGIA: Celebrate 150 years of Heckington Show

Organisers of the Heckington Show and members of the Heckington Village Trust are preparing to hold a photographic exhibition to mark the 150th anniversary of the hugely-popular agricultural event.

Jane Bowtell, secretary of the horticulture tent at the annual show, is working alongside the Village Trust to celebrate in photos its history.

As well as using the Trust’s archives, the Sleaford Standard is making available its own extensive photographic library spanning the last 50 years of the show.

If readers have their own nostalgic show images we would like to copy them and use them as part of the display.
