Anglo-German concert features RAF Cranwell bandmaster.

THE bandmaster of the RAF Regiment Band, based at RAF Cranwell will be jointly conducting a concert of combined orchestras at Lincoln's newest venue.
The concert will take place at the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre at Lincoln University on Sunday May 11 at 4pm.

The Lincoln Symphony Orchestra will be joined by 24 members of the Sinfonieorchester Neustadt – Neustadt is Lincoln's German twin town.

The musicians will be conducted by Kenneth bell, Band Master of the RAF Regiment Band and Holger Best – cellist, music teacher and musical director of the Sinfonieorchester Neustadt.

The programme will include Overture to The Wasps by Vaughn Williams, Haydn's Symphony No. 104 (Londno Symphony) and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4.

Tickets are available from the box office on Broadgate, Lincoln, admission is £10, concessions £8 and under 16s admitted free.
