IT was a busy weekend in Helpringham, where villagers staged their annual feast.
Events were centred on the parish church and memorial hall. Attractions on Saturday included a flower competition and puppet making workshops led by vicar's wife Judith Samuel, and Terry Markham's tours of the church tower proved very popular.

Tea, cakes and chine were served in the memorial hall.

The feast weekend concluded with a puppet play and a Songs of Praise service at the church on Sunday night.
