MEMORIES of Mackays clothes shop in Sleaford were relived as part of the store's 30th anniversary celebrations.
The store, now known as M&Co, has been trading in the town since September 1978 and staff chose to mark the milestone of one of the longest running retailers in the town.

They put up a board of nostalgic photographs from the store’s past and invited former members of staff to pop along to reminisce.

The company has a new chosen charity, Cancer Research UK, and so eight members of staff took turns on a treadmill in store to do 30 miles to raise money for the cause.

Deputy manager Ann Allott said: “From 10am until 5pm someone was on the treadmill.

“The customers were quite surprised we have been open for as long as we have. Some remembered coming into the shop as children.”

The M&Co staff managed to raise £185 for Cancer Research UK.
