* The second annual Digby Feast was equally as successful as the first as it raised around 1,500 for village hall funds.

The villagers were blessed with good weather that brought out a good attendance and everyone enjoyed all the activities that were put on.

There was a whole range of activities for all the family. A section of North Street between the Red Lion pub and the Digby War Memorial Hall was closed for the day to become the main arena for the Starlight Twirlers from Metheringham, Lincoln District Scout Band, judo and martial arts demonstrations, dog show and Digby Cheerleaders.

There were fair rides, stalls, games, a bouncy castle and hot food.

The Digby Duck Race was staged on the village beck.

Inside the hall there were local arts and craft stalls, an exhibition by the school children of Digby, cake and photo competitions and refreshments.

The day time events were followed by an evening of live entertainment by the Legends Tribute Band with doubles of Robbie Williams, Amy Winehouse, Neil Diamond, Everly Brothers, Dusty Springfield and Frank Sinatra all performing, supported by a local disco.

Village hall committee chairman Rob Gray thanked everyone for supporting the event.
