AC/DC tribute band promise a night of high voltage rock

LIVE/WIRE, the AC/DC tribute show return to Bourne Corn Exchange this Saturday.

The six man tribute to AC/DC are back with their Rising Power tour, that they say is even bigger, better and louder than before - complete with cannons, a wall of Marshalls and over two hours of high voltage rock 'n' roll.

Both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras of AC/DC are included in the same show, with two very individual singers treading the boards.

Jon portrays the legendary front man Bon Scott, who was AC/DC's original vocalist and a wild man of rock and roll, whose untimely death shocked the music world in 1980.

Pete then dons the flat cap as Geordie vocalist Brian Johnson, to whom AC/DC turned in order to fill the void left by Bon.

The frenzied schoolboy antics of Angus Young, on lead guitar are faithfully reproduced by Lorne, dressed in Angus' signature school uniform and armed with the famous Gibson SG guitar.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets are 10 in advance or 12 on the door if available. Tickets for under 16s are 5.

Last year's show was a sell out, so it is advisable to book in advance at the box office on 07828 032241.
