Art group's work is going on display
THE Magna Art Group will be holding an exhibition of work at Great Hale Village Hall.
The exhibition will be on Saturday October 3 from 10am to 3pm with free entry and refreshments.
Art work is by beginners and intermediate artists in various mediums including water colour, acrylic, gouache, crayon, pen and ink. Some work will be for sale with 10 per cent of the sale price going to the art group.
The new art group was formed from people who attended the now scrapped adult education classes at Great Hale Village Hall
New members are welcome to join the art group which meets every Wednesday at 10am for a two hour session with local established artists providing demonstrations and workshops once a month. Yearly subscription is 35 or just pay 2 per meeting. NKDC gave a grant to pay 50 per cent of the group's expenses for the first six months.
