Be the first to hear new Sleaford record at The Hub

BE the first to hear and buy Sleaford's very own compilation vinyl record.

On Saturday September 4, visit the Hub to hear the very first public playing of Sleaford's City Limits 2010: Volume 1.

Throughout the summer, residents of Sleaford and the surrounding area have visited the Let's Play Records! exhibition at the Hub and added their tracks or cover designs to the project.

Tracks on the album range from live recordings of local musicians, sounds of the Sleaford streets and stories from days past. The album will be a real mix of styles and a lasting social document of the time and the town.

Bruce Davies, artist behind the Let's Play Records! project and the production of the album said: "What I hope to have done here, is to capture a real feel for the town itself, as well as some anecdotes relating to the area and of course Sleaford life."

The launch will take place from 12noon-2pm. The weekend will be the last chance to see the Let's Play Records! exhibition in the main gallery.

If you would like to attend or for further information, call the Hub on 01529 308710 or email hub@leisureconnection.co.uk
