Book sale to raise funds for historic cottage

The annual book sale in aid of Mrs Smith’s Cottage museum will be held at the Methodist Church Hall in High Street, Navenby.

The sale is organised to raise funds for the little heritage museum of domestic Lincolnshire village life and the cottage which is preserved as a snapshot in time from over a century ago - just as Mrs Smith left it.

It is on Saturday, February 2, from 1-4pm.

There will be refreshments and homemade cakes.

Admission is 50p (accompanied children free).

Organisers welcome donations of books for adults and children.

These can be brought to the hall from 10am to 12noon on the day.

For further information contact 01522 810145.
