Cast your vote for Lincolnshire food

IT is time to vote for your favourite local eaterie, from your local chippy to a budding chef.

The East Midlands Food and Drink Awards celebrate all that is great about the region’s food and drink, recognise excellence within the region’s dining venues and give a public pat on the back to all those who strive to offer exceptional food and drink experiences, while maintaining strong connections with the community.

The awards are open to anyone who runs a local business, is a customer or member of staff. The categories are: Best Bar; Best Hotel Restaurant; Best Fish & Chips; Best Gastro Pub; Best Tea Room/Café; Customer Care for Service/Front of House; Best Newcomer; Best Oriental Restaurant; Best Indian Restaurant; Best European Restaurant; Best Chef; Local Food Hero; Best Venue; Best Special Event Caterer.

Once you’ve nominated your favourites, don’t forget to vote to ensure your chosen establishment becomes a category winner for your region. The regional category winners will be announced in mid-September and voting will then reopen, where they will compete against the winners from all our newspaper group regions (Stamford and Rutland/Grantham/Melton/Peterborough/Lincolnshire).

The overall East Midlands Food and Drink winners will be announced at the grand final event at Greetham Valley Hotel on Sunday October 28.

To nominate your favourite food and drink businesses or individuals or for further details, please contact Linda Pritchard on 01476 562291 or email linda.pritchard@jpress.co.uk.

Please include the category, name of the establishment or individual followed by the town.
