Challenge a darts legend

ONE of the true legends of the darts world, John Lowe, will be appearing at a village pub to challenge local to a game.

John - the first player to achieve the perfect televised ‘501’ in nine darts - will be appearing at the Ropsley Fox in Ropsley on Friday July 13.

The sporting veteran has won over 1,000 titles worldwide.

The evening has been arranged to raise funds for local resident Stan Borysyuk’s Great Wall of China Walk in aid of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Stan’s sister-in-law is the youngest person to have been diagnosed with this condition.

This is a great opportunity to throw your arrows against one of the greatest darts players. Stan will be first up on the oche to start the evening off.

Tickets for the evening are £5.

Raffle tickets at £1 each can be purchased on the night for the opportunity to play against John.

For further information contact Dave at The Ropsley Fox (Tel: 01476 5859570).
