Christmas crafts and festive food event

A day of festive crafts and entertainment will take place this weekend at the National Centre for Craft and Design.

On Saturday the centre will be hosting ‘gifted 12’, a new contemporary Christmas craft fair and offers shoppers the chance to browse some festive gifts and try delicious local food.

Over 50 stall holders will be showcasing their talents with stalls including jewellery, textiles, ceramic and glass, and there will also be musical entertainment with bell-ringers, carol singers acoustic musicians and even opera.

There will also be the chance to try some festive seasonal food and have a go at some crafty workshops running throughout the day, as well as artists demonstrations.

The event is free and is open from 11am to around 7pm and will be based in and around the NCCD, Navigation Way and Eastgate Green.
