Cinema time travel theme
SLEAFORD Community Cinema is back for the summer holidays so if you were stuck for how to keep the kids occupied on a budget, look no further.
The cinema is a not for profit community group run by volunteers who aim to keep it going as a regular amenity with screenings at The Playhouse Theatre in Westgate.
Coming up on Sunday August 5 there is a double bill at the cinema on a time travel theme. First up is Black Knight (PG) (6pm start) and Back To The Future (PG) (7.45pm start), giving you a mix of modern and retro entertainment for the family.
In Black Knight, Jamal, an employee in Medieval World amusement park suffers a blow to the head and awakens in 14th century England.
In Back To The Future, Doc Brown invents time travel in 1985, but when young friend Marty McFly goes back to 1955 he accidentally prevents his parents meeting, putting hisown existence at stake.
Tickets are £3. Book on line at www.sleafordcinema.co.uk or on the door.
