Come and sample best county food

YOU have the chance to sample some of our county’s best food this week.

To celebrate British Food Fortnight, Lincolnshire Co-operative is sending its Tastes on Tour exhibition trailer to five food stores in the county, offering free samples of the best Lincolnshire produce, including Dennett’s ice cream and Piper’s Crisps.

The trailer will be visiting Ruskington on its tour on Wednesday August 8, and will be on site between 10am and 3pm each day.

The Co-op is also asking people to vote on their favourite flavour of ice cream and crisps.

The winners will be stocked in their stores later in the year.

British Food Fortnight is running from now until August 12.
