Comedy with strings
Bowjangles, coming to Ewerby with their antidote to the Olympics.
BOWJANGLES are an internationally acclaimed all singing, all dancing, string quartet who will be appearing at The Reading Rooms in Ewerby this month.
The group promise the audience a dazzling stage show of fiery musicianship, energetic dance, vaudeville comedy and four part harmony singing.
The first half of the programme at the venue in Main Street is Bowjangles’ antidote to the Olympics known as Bowlympic with their revue show after the interval.
Fiona White, the chairman of the Ewerby Reading Room Management Committee who are presenting the show with the assistance of the Lincolnshire Touring Arts Partnership says: “You just won’t believe what this good old fashioned four piece are capable of.”
John Suchet, Classic fm’s morning presenter has seen the show and says that they are simply outstanding.
The show on September 21 starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £8 and £5 for children are still available from Irene Austen on 01529 461074 and the licensed bar will be open from 7pm.
