Drama at the Playhouse for Sleaford Live
SLEAFORD Little Theatre in conjunction with Horncastle Theatre Group and Metheringham Amateur Dramatic Society will be helping to kick-start Sleaford Live.
Entitled Comedy at The Playhouse the evening will include The Allotment by Gillian Plowman and performed by Metheringham A.D.S. This centres around five women who are serving community service orders working on an allotment.
Drinking Companion - an unsuccessful seduction attempt - and Between Mouthfuls - a fraught restaurant encounter, are both written by popular comedy playwright Alan Ayckbourn and performed by Horncastle Theatre Group, who return to Sleaford for a fourth successive year for the event.
A Fish in Her Kettle by Michael Green, is another hilarious comedy play performed by Sleaford Little Theatre, where the simple lack of a door handle causes all the trouble.
Performances will be at The Playhouse in Westgate, Sleaford on Friday and Saturday May 1 and 2 at 7.30pm. Tickets are 5, all seats and available in advance from the Tourist Information Centre, Moneys Yard, Sleaford (Tel: 01529 414294).
