VISITOR attractions in Sleaford were just two of the many activities and historic locations people could visit for this year’s Heritage Open Days in the county.

Cogglesford Mill and Navigation House were open on the Sunday, putting on demonstrations of milling, children’s activities, bread making and tasting with Greenfield Bakery and quizzes for adults and children to win a prize.

The event was extremely popular with a rise in visitor numbers. A guided tour around RAF College Cranwell proved very popular and was fully booked weeks in advance.
