History of airbase

CHRISTOPHER Dean will be lecturing on the history of RAF Waddington at Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre on Wednesday April 25, starting at 7.30pm.

Mr Dean is a retired navigator who flew in the Sentry AEW Mk 1 (AWACS) aircraft from the base, and currently helps as a volunteer and researcher at its heritage centre.

Admission is £5 to visitors including refreshments. Free to Friends of Metheringham Airfield and 106 Squadron veterans.
