It’s time to get creative

SLEAFORD Hub Writers are hosting an open mike evening in the café of the National Centre for Craft and Design on Tuesday, March 6.

Inspired by the current exhibition, the Museum of Broken Relationships, the group is celebrating the spoken word and inviting local writers to contribute their own prose or poetry. Work can be amusing, cynical or hopeful, as well as sad and regretful.

Take your pieces of approximately 500 words to reception at the centre by Friday, February 24 or submit them via Sleaford Hub Writers Facebook page.

Prizes for the most interesting original piece by students over 16 and by adult writers will be presented at the end of the evening.

There will also be a chance to perform your work.

Email info@nationalcraftanddesign.org.uk if you would like to go along from 7pm–9.30pm on Tuesday, March 7.
