Lounge Crusade has date at legendary Cavern Club
LINCOLN band The Lounge Crusade, which includes Metheringham guitarist Chris Pearson, has announced a high profile summer date at Liverpool's legendary venue, The Cavern Club.
Following in the footsteps of the Beatles, the band are to headline a night of original live music on Saturday July 31.
Lead guitarist Chris says: "This is a great opportunity for us to play another top venue in front of some highly critical fans who are used to hearing the country's top talent on a nightly basis. I've played there a couple of times before with my old band The Idlers and the fans are really into their music and it should be a great night."
The band are putting on coach travel to and from the gig.
This is something the band have done before and it was a great success.
Chris says: "We put on a coach for our headline gig at the Water Rats in London and it was great to travel so far and play to an already packed out venue, but to have 50 of your own fans really getting into it down the front really turned up the performance.
"We really appreciate all our fans coming along and they had a top night out. I'm sure this will be just as good."
The coach will leave Lincoln at around 1pm, returning straight after the gig. Tickets are available now from the band priced 7 although those coming on the bus will be able to get travel and gig entry for around 20.
