New youth drama group
HECKINGTON Players drama group are celebrating the end of their most successful pantomime run ever with a record nine performances to packed audiences and are now keen to accommodate more young people in the society, all keen to get involved with drama either on stage or backstage.
The Players have a successful junior section for 8-12 year olds and now a new group for ages 13 to 18 is being launched called The Inbetweeners. It is open to everyone with a keen interest in the subject and will put on productions locally and as part of drama festivals. There will be workshops and hopefully theatre trips. Meetings will be on Mondays or Fridays during term time at Heckington Village Hall, starting on Monday February 27 at 6.15pm until 7.45pm. £3 per session, places are strictly limited.
