Families and friends gathered on the North Airfield at RAF College Cranwell on Thursday for the annual Station Bonfire.

It was almost a perfect night as the bonfire was lit by Kath Stubbs, wife of the Commandant, Air Cdre David Stubbs, after which all ages enjoyed a firework display.

Floodlights lit up “tent village” where the accompanying music was provided by FS Chris Jones and the gathered crowd tucked into hot roast pork rolls and burgers.
