FOR anyone struggling to find the perfect card to send to their Valentine, a workshop held in Sleaford had just the answer.

The National Centre for Craft and Design held a Valentine’s card printing workshop the day before Valentine’s Day giving romantics the opportunity to make their own cards to send to their loved ones as part of the centre’s Month of Love activities.

Twelve people went along on the day and used techniques such as monoprinting and serigraphy, which uses a woven mesh stencil, to create their cards, as well as using a printing press and creating collages from their printed designs.
