Rotarians help kick start school allotment club

Sleaford’s two Rotary Clubs have come together to help a school allotment project at Carres Grammar School.

David Leech from the Rotary Club of Sleaford and Paul Scholey from the Rotary Club of Sleaford Kesteven both have long-standing farming connections and have helped kickstart the new project so students can grow vegetables as part of their geography course work. Spokesman Tony Dixon said both clubs have long standing connections with the school: “We hope this becomes an invaluable and ongoing learning resource for the students and staff.”
