THE spring production for Sleaford Little Theatre brings nurder, mystery and intrigue to the stage.

Strictly Murder, by Brian Clemens will be directed by Little Theatre stalwart Hilary Shields.

The year is 1939, the is place Provence in France, untouched and unaffected, it seems, by the rumbles and echoes of the coming war. Or is it?

Artist Peter and live-in girlfriend, Suzy, are about to have their peaceful lives shattered when she discovers that she has been betrayed. Who is Peter? What secret is he hiding?

The arrival of a Scotland Yard detective further exacerbates the situation and lies, subterfuge, dark, disturbing twists and turns make this a fast moving murder mystery of “throat grabbing” proportions.

Written by Brian Clemens who also penned TV’s The Avengers and The Professionals this brilliant and masterly thriller is guaranteed to keep you absorbed until the final, chilling denouement.

Playing the main characters in the cast are Jeffrey Hemsley, Andy Canadine, Joanne Moules, Tony Gordon and Mary Rudkin.

The show runs from March 21-24 at the Playhouse in Westgate, doors open at 7pm for 7.40pm start.

Tickets are on sale from Soft Options, 3-4 Market Place, Sleaford, (Tel: 01529 410348). Tickets can be paid for in store or over the phone with a credit or debit card and either collected from Soft Options beforehand or on the door on the night of the performance.
