Top Irish musician in concert at the George

PRESENTLY living in Germany, organising festivals and musical events, veteran Irish musician and songwriter, Bob Bales, is visiting Lincolnshire to hold music workshops and perform his inimitable style of music.

Bob will be playing for one night only at the George Hotel, Leadenham, on Saturday September 29 at 8.30pm.

Admission is free and Bob will also be running an Irish music workshop during the afternoon where he invites local musicians of all levels and skills to join him for some fun and laughter.

The workshop participants will also have the opportunity to try out their skills during the gig that evening.

The workshop will bein the Bar at the George Hotel 1pm – 4pm on the Saturday. Admission free (donations encouraged.)

A player of an array of Irish instruments including the Irish flatback bazouki, bodhran, guitar and whistle, Bob will be performing a memorable repertoire of Celtic songs and traditional styles.

His performing style is said to be “energetic, lively, humorous, witty and very generous”.

Bob is the founder of the cultural movement, The European House Of Arts, and has travelled to countries all around Europe playing at and instigating arts events, concerts, festivals and exhibitions.
