Win gifts with library summer time reading challenge
LOOKING for something to do this summer? Why not join the Summer Reading Challenge, the biggest national reading initiative, which starts on July 16 in Lincolnshire.
The challenge is for you to read six books from your local library during the summer.
For every two books read, you will receive a gift for your efforts. Once the challenge is completed you also receive a special certificate.
This year’s theme is Story Lab. Join in with Lex, Rani, Will, Evie, and Aesop, the ginger lab cat, as they help Professor Cortex collect and share stories to inspire the imagination.
Anne Sarrag, Summer Reading Challenge director for The Reading Agency, said: “Story Lab is all free fun. It helps discover a love of stories while maintaining and developing your reading skills over the summer holidays.”
Check local libraries for opening hours and Summer Reading Challenge events happening across the county.
