The sun shone on 30 teams of golfers who played a round at Sleaford Golf Club to help Sleaford and District Lioness Club raise money for two good causes.

The golfers were treated to drinks and homemade goodies at the half way house and ended with a delicious meal on Friday.

The Lionesses thank many local businesses for their generosity donating prizes for the raffle and sponsoring holes and Sleaford Quality Foods for paying the green fees.

The winning team, pictured teeing off, was made up of David Swaithe, John Kyte, Lee Morton and Graham Anderson.

It is believed they have raised just over £3,000 to be divided between the Arthritis Research UK and local Arthritis Care.
