The annual Helpringham Feast has been held again, taking place from Friday, August 5, to Sunday, August 7.

It included a traditional fun day on the Saturday with many stall holders on the village green.

The fun day was opened by this year’s Feast Princess, the winner of a drawing competition, Imagina Brown, aged five, who drew Helpringham Playing Field.

A fun dog show and birds from the Lincoln Owl Rescue were among the attractions.

There was also entertainment courtesy of Zest Dance School.

This year’s winners of the Junior Tandem Hoppers Race were Alex and Alice.

This year’s event proceeds supported Helpringham Playing Field and with the help from the Women’s Chattershack, they raised £509 for the cause.

The day then moved to the Brass Windmill, where live bands played in the car park and there was a family barbecue.

The Adults Helpringham Hopper race took place later that evening and was won by the last three years’ champions, Abby Tilley and Grace Spencer.
