The largest village show in England is now less than a week away.
The Heckington Show returns on Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26.
Tens of thousands of people are set to attend the annual event, which is now in its 148th year.
There will be a wide range of attractions for visitors, with the main ring featuring children’s cycling and running races, a 10-mile road race, youth athletics track races, the Red Devils parachute display team, a motorcycle display team, scurry driving, a vintage tractor drive and a number of animal attractions.
Other attractions include a firework concert and more than 250 trade stands, fairground rides and craft stalls.
Youngsters and ‘big kids’ will love the activity zone where they can try circus skills, model boats, rugby and cookery.
There will also be a variety of craft stalls to look for gifts, as well as horticultural displays and food stalls offering a variety of traditional favourites.
The opening times are 9am to 10.15pm on the Saturday and 9am to 5.30pm on the Sunday.
The firework concert – described by organisers as ‘Glastonbury meets the Proms’ – runs from 7pm to 10.15pm on the Saturday, with the main ring gate opening at 6.45pm.
