During an organised visit to control room of Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance by representatives from the Rotary Club of Sleaford, their president Stephen Bath confirmed the club’s continuing support of the charity, LIVES and other charities through its annual swimathon to be held this year on Saturday, November 15.

Based at RAF Waddington and crewed by a pilot and two highly-trained paramedics, the ambulance answers in the region of 1,000 ‘call outs’ each year, the annual cost of providing this life saving service is £2.2 million, totally reliant upon public subscription and donations.

The Rotary Club of Sleaford has over the years raised £22,000 for the Air Ambulance which Stephen Bath said could only have been made possible by the generous support from the community of Sleaford.
