ONE of Sleaford's main hotels is planning to more than double its room capacity.
The Carre Arms Hotel on Mareham Lane currently has 14 ensuite rooms but is proposing to construct an additional wing to create an additional 19 rooms, plus a further 27 parking space.

Members of the Sleaford Town Council applications committee have backed the scheme, saying there is plenty of room on the site for the extension. Town councillors felt it would not affect any neighbours and would be good for the town’s infrastructure.

The scheme is subject to approval by North Kesteven District Council planners.
