BREAKING NEWS WEDNESDAY 4.10PM – Businesses on Sleaford's Southgate have been left flooded this afternoon (Wednesday) after torrential rainfall.
Curtis' Bakery and the Bull and Dog pub have been mopping rainwater in their premises after the water became ankle high.

Sleaford was hit with torrential rain at about 2pm this afternoon.

According to the businesses, this is not the first time it has happened, and fear that every time it rains hard their premises will be flooded with water.

They asked last year for nearby drains to be looked at and unblocked but the businesses claim this has not been done.

Curtis' Bakery has only been open since November last year but has experienced similar problems twice before.

Both businesses put out sandbags to help prevent any more water coming in.
