SLEAFORD Town Council has been given planning permission to demolish garages and an old corrugated iron shed in Eastgate car park.
The plan is part of the council’s proposal to build a £600,000 community centre on the land next to The Hub craft and exhibition centre and Eastgate Green.

A separate application is still awaiting a decision from the North Kesteven District Council for the community centre which would include a single storey function room, with two storey block at the end nearest The Hub housing toilets, kitchen/bar area and offices for town council staff.
