Monday, 5.30pm. FUNDRAISERS supporting GIFTS Hospice in Sleaford are holding a Casino Night later this month.
The event is to be held at 121 Grantham Road, Sleaford, where the GIFTS day hospice is based, on Friday, November 28, from 8pm to 11pm.

It is open to anyone who enjoys a flutter or simply looking for a good night out.

The ticket price of £15 includes a cocktail, canapes and some chips.

Dress is black tie and all proceeds from the evening will go towards GIFTS services in Sleaford.

Tickets can be booked through Angie Hudson on 01526 833364.

*Marcus Grimshaw, director of financial services group Fiducia, has presented GIFTS in Sleaford with a cheque for £4,254.

The money was raised at a late summer charity ball held at The Lawn in Lincoln. The event, which included a huge raffle and an auction raised £7,008 and, with an additional £750 from Barclays, the final figure from the evening was £7,758, with the rest of the money going to the Openwork Foundation.

GIFTS Sleaford community fundraiser Lynn Robinson said: "The amount given to GIFTS will give help to so many people in the Sleaford area.

"It will keep the hospice open for a day a week for the next two months or give 200 hours of care in people's homes."

If anyone is interested in becoming a volunteer with GIFTS Hospice or would like to raise money for the charity they can contact Lynn Robinson on 01529 415045.
