Lafford disco raises nearly £100 for this summer's ball

ALTHOUGH their school is facing closure, pupils at the Lafford High School in Billinghay are still determined to enjoy their time there.
Earlier this month pupils in Years 10 and 11 held a disco which raised £98.17 towards the year 11 summer ball on June 27.

The DJ at the disco was pupil Ben Secker, 16, and he impressed everyone so much he has been booked to DJ at the Key Stage 3 disco before the half-term break.

l Lincolnshire County Council is set to close Lafford High School in 2010 because of falling numbers.
